Membership

Altona Tennis Club has reviewed and simplified its 2020/21 membership categories to recognise the disruption caused by the pandemic during 2020. This fee structure is for 2021/21 only and will increase to prior levels from 2021/22. In addition to these reduced fees, we are offering one-off reduced Early Bird fees (valid until 31 August 2020).

The membership prices below are Early Bird fees for a one-year 2020/21 membership only. Being a member has some great benefits which are listed on the bottom of the page.

When you click on the membership category below you will be taken the Tennis Australia “My Tennis” registration page where you can select your membership and follow the prompts to join the club.

Players are required to be a member the club to access courts and participate in club competitions and other activities.

The club encourages members to register and pay securely via credit card on Tennis Australia’s online portal by clicking on the button below. If you require a hard copy membership form, please email: admin@altonatennisclub.org.au 

Junior - Early Bird

$55 per year

for players 18 years old & under. Fee increases to $75 (normally $110) if paid after 31 August 2020.

Senior - Early Bird

$110 per year

for players 18 years & over. Fee increases to $175 (normally $220) if paid after 31 August 2020.

Concession - Early Bird

$70 per year

for concession card holders & full-time students. Fee increases to $100 (normally $135) if paid after 31 August 2020.

Off Peak - Early Bird

$55 per year

for players who access courts between 8am and 4pm on week days only. Fee increases to $75 if paid after 31 August 2020.

Benefits & Features

Membership of Altona Tennis Club is necessary to participate in competitions.

Membership also entitles players to:

practise outside times reserved for competition and coaching

all courts 11 courts have lighting, which ensures availability at most times of the day or evening other than Saturdays during competition seasons and for tournaments

Access to well maintained courts and two surface types

Insurance via Tennis Victoria affiliation

Friendly and vibrant community club atmosphere

Voting rights at the Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Ability to stand as a Committee Member

Members can request a court key for $55. People who are not current members are not entitled to use a key to access the courts.

Reduced fees to various activities, including Fast4 Leagues

Benefits from Tennis Australia, including access early-bird tickets to the Australian Open
