Membership
Altona Tennis Club has a range of membership categories. The membership prices below are for a one-year membership at the club. Being a member has some great benefits which are listed on the bottom of the page.
When you click on the membership category below you will be taken the Tennis Australia “My Tennis” registration page where you can select your membership and follow the prompts to join the club.
Players are required to be a member the club to participate in club competitions and other activities. You can view all the playing opportunities at the club under the “Play Tennis” tab in the navigation bar. Members of other tennis clubs are invited to contact our secretary to discuss secondary membership opportunities.

Junior
membership for players 18 years old & under.
Junior (six months)
6-month membership for junior players.
Senior
membership for players who are above 18 years old.
Senior Concession
membership for adults holding a health care or pension card.
Couple (half)
membership for couples who love playing tennis.
Coaching Only
for non-members playing at Altona Tennis Club
Family
include two adults and two children under 18. extra children pay 50% of junior fee.
Social Group
membership for ladies who play on Wednesday morning social group only.
Non-Playing
a yearly full membership for those who do not play tennis at all.
Parent Concession
membership for parents with one or more children who are junior members.
Student Concession
membership for full-time students who are above 18 years old.
Benefits & Features
Membership of Altona Tennis Club is necessary to participate in competitions.
Membership also entitles players to practice outside times reserved for competition and coaching. Altona is one of the few clubs in Hobsons Bay where members can arrange a practice hit at short notice. All courts 11 courts have lighting, which ensures availability at most times of the day or evening other than Saturdays during competition seasons and for tournaments (approx. 4-6 occasions per year). The relaxed setting beside Cherry Lake provides a great opportunity for members and guests to combine tennis and socialising.
