WRTA Junior Competition

The Altona Tennis Club is one of the largest providers of junior competitions teams in the Western Suburbs fielding more than 20 teams each season. Mark from Vida Tennis and his team manage the club’s junior competition with teams on both Saturdays and Sundays. Each player who represents the club will receive a club shirt in their first season and then a replacement shirt as required during further seasons.

To join a team for each season please fill in the below online registration form. A season fee is charged per player. Once you fill in the online form and press submit, you will be sent an invoice for your competition fees which may also be accompanied by your six-month membership fee (if you are not a current Altona TC member). You will only be able to join a team if you are a current paid up member of the Altona Tennis Club and have paid you season competition fees online or to Mark from Vida Tennis. Players whose fees are in arrears will not be entered into Summer Competition. Fees in arrears must be paid by mid August when Summer Comp applications are entered.

We are now taking applicatrions for the WRTA Winter Junior Competition Season. Round 1 starts on Staurday / Sunday the 29th/30th of April 2017. Entries are due in by the 3rd of March and the cost per player to play in the season is $55. Please fill in the below form to register your interest.

Terms & Conditions

All fees (junior membership and season fees) must be paid in advance of the Winter season (starting April 2017).

Players whose fees are in arrears will not be entered into Winter Competition. Fees must be paid by March 2017 when applications are entered. The cost per player is $55 for the season.

Players entering must declare any match days they are unavailable in advance of the season commencing.

A Parent Supervisor is required for each child playing. Please do not enter your child if you are unable to perform this task (about 4 matches a season per player).

WRTA Junior Comp matches are played on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Odd number sections play 8.00-10.10am, even numbered sections play 10.20am-12.30pm. The section entered is determined by the WRTA and is not negotiable.
